Amber came to me wanting to capture the love between her and Michael. But she didn’t want just ANY traditional couples session. She wanted something that matched her personality a bit more. A bit of fire and sass and sexy. Photos that were… MORE than your average session. It was so fun pulling all of the pieces of this session together! Even the last minute (LITERALLY) bottle of local Hard Cider and the Flowers picked from the side of the road. It all brought it together perfectly for the moment and the memory.
Together we dreamed up this session that would included several different types of photos, we picked her outfits together, and I must admit, at first I was a little weary of the paisley skirt. I’m a neutrals girl! But when I saw it IN PERSON, I KNEW the choice was absolutely the right one!
We had a barn set-up with a bed, a borrowed old two-toned diesel Ford, that happened to be her favorite colors, Red and Black, and the field with the sun sinking low behind the tree-line, giving us that perfect 5 minutes of Golden Light before the ridge lines blocked it from view.
During the 2 hours we spent together, the two of them smiled and laughed, cracked jokes, kissed with a passion that would give goosebumps and played with a young love, a person who’s been with their spouse for many years, fondly remembers.
I love a good intimate session like this! How about you? What’s your vibe for a couples session? How about a good boat on the river or lake session? Would you be down for it? Let me know!
As always Amber it was such a pleasure to work with you, again!

During your sessions you'll find the fun and beauty in the overlooked moments. that can mean so much. Your Childs hand in yours. How your spouse looks at you and smiles when you aren't paying attention. When you feel comfortable and empowered and confident during your session and leave happy you did it.
