Introducing Mr. & Mrs. Andrews!
I first met this sweet couple last May when they came to me for a couple’s session. Childhood neighbors and friends, turned sweethearts.
Unbeknownst to me at the time, they had gotten the keys to their first home, that day! Even more of a secret, Johnathan already had the ring he would surprise his sweetheart with just a month later! They reached out to me shortly after the proposal that took place on a rainy day, at a mountain top overlook. (How SWEET is that?) We’ve been talking about their special day for months! Many messages back and forth, a beautiful Engagement session as the spring Apple tree’s and blue bells were in full bloom.
They said their vows in front of family and friends, many of whom they hadn’t seen in years, in a field at Cheyanne’s childhood home. When my secondary Photographer and I showed up to start shooting, they were still setting up their Wedding. It reminded me a little of my own, backyard Wedding, although this was a baking June Saturday, not a freezing February night. I think they had the better idea. LOL.
As we shot detail photos, Johnathan cracked jokes and kept his Bride calm. Reminding her of the time so she could go get her hair and make-up done.
The two of them truly worked as a team that day, and I can say with a deep feeling, that they work through much of their life in a real partnership. Laughing and smiling as much as possible.
It was truly a blessing to capture their day from them.
Cheyanne, Johnathan, Congratulations to becoming Mr. & Mrs. Andrews. Thank you for having me be a part of your story.
